Is the free version still useful on its own?
Yes. Revision notes, past papers, Maths booklets and formula sheets stay free, along with saved notes progress, bookmarks and daily streaks. With a free account you also get 5 free practice questions at every grade in every topic (Grades 1–3 and 4–5 at Foundation, 4–6 and 7–9 at Higher), plus 1 quiz and 1 smart flashcard session each day. Premium unlocks every question at every grade, unlimited Quiz Mode and Smart Flashcards with saved history, and progress analytics.
Who should set up the subscription?
Premium is designed to be bought by a parent or guardian. You can pay with your own card and the account stays linked to your child's login.
Does it renew automatically, and can I cancel at any time?
Premium renews automatically — £6.99 each month on the monthly plan, or £49.99 each year on the annual plan — until you cancel. Cancelling takes one click from the Account page, with no phone calls and no retention hoops. Your renewal stops straight away and you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for.
What if I change my mind after paying?
Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and UK and EU customers also have a statutory 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. Refunds are handled by Paddle, our payment provider — see our Refund Policy for how to request one.
Do you show adverts to students?
No. There are no adverts anywhere on Achieve Academy, and we never track or profile students. If we ever introduce clearly labelled, education-related sponsor cards, they would only appear on free accounts and never for Premium members.
What are smart flashcards?
A card deck for every topic, built from our revision notes and recall questions. You rate how well you remembered each card and it comes back just before you would forget it, so short daily sessions keep whole subjects fresh.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, both ways from your account page. Monthly members can confirm an immediate annual upgrade, with unused monthly time credited before payment; if your bank asks you to approve the payment, a secure payment window opens so you can confirm it there. Annual members can switch to monthly with one button: nothing is charged that day, the paid year runs to its end date, and billing then becomes monthly. You can also cancel renewal at any time and keep access until your paid period ends.
Which exam boards are covered?
AQA and Edexcel (including IGCSE) across Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science, plus OCR for Maths, at both Foundation and Higher tier.
What are progress analytics?
A dashboard at the top of your Progress page that combines your notes, questions, quiz scores and flashcard reviews into one exam-readiness score, a projected GCSE grade per subject, a colour-coded weak-topic heatmap, a score trend chart, and a flashcard mastery breakdown — plus a smart 'focus next' suggestion pointing you to the topic that needs the most work.
